Amad recovery going well, expected to join first-team training shortly

The winger is adjusting well to his return to solitary training, and he will soon resume training with the first team.

Injury has been the defining feature of Manchester United’s season thus far. Since the preseason, the Old Trafford team has been operating without multiple first-team players at once. It makes Erik ten Hag’s work tenfold more difficult.

At a gradual pace, players are coming back. It’s good to hear that some guys are recovering, but they do need some time to catch up before they can play meaningful minutes.

The most recent encouraging news is from Insider United/X/Twitter. Having previously been forced to deactivate their account due to accurate team news leaks, these guys are a reliable source.

According to them, Amad, who went back to

Amad picked up his problem during pre-season, after putting in one or two decent displays in the friendly matches before going down with injury. We have not seen him since.

It’s gutting for the player because at this time, there was a real opening in the right-wing position. Antony had some legal issues. Jadon Sancho remains frozen out and Mason Greenwood is a thing of the past.

Facundo Pellistri has taken advantage of that situation in fits and spurts but I bet Amad, who has way more experience, is chomping at the bit to prove his worth, too.

Do you think Amad will make a positive impact upon his return? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
