Confirmed Man Utd line-up vs Man City, Eriksen starts in 3 changes

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League derby against Manchester City at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have picked up three victories on the bounce and they will be aiming for another against their arch-rivals. Ahead of the game, there are a few surprise changes.
Raphael Varane has been left on the substitutes’ bench. It could be fitness related. In his place, Jonny Evans has been picked to partner Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence.
Meanwhile, Victor Lindelof has replaced Sergio Reguilon in the left-back spot. The decision is justifiable, considering the Spaniard only recently returned from an injury.
After underwhelming displays against Sheffield United and Copenhagen, the Brazilian has dropped to the bench. In his place, Christian Eriksen has got the nod in the XI.
The Dane was handed the man of the match in midweek for his assist. He has returned to the starting line-up for the first time since facing Bayern on September 20.
United’s team is far from perfect on paper. Casemiro is a huge miss in midfield. He has failed to recover from an ankle issue. Varane’s exclusion comes as a surprise, given the importance of the fixture.
Ten Hag will be hoping that his team stand up to the challenge from the Cityzens. They are certainly capable of picking up maximum points, but need to step up their performance for the occasion.
