Tonight, can LA break their losing streak?
For the second time this season, your Los Angeles Lakers will play the Phoenix Suns tonight, and it appears like Phoenix will be missing one of its most important players.
All-Star guard Devin Booker is still out for Sunday game against the Lakers, which will be his second straight game without a uniform. Bradley Beal, on the other hand, is likely to play.
The Lakers must win this game to snap their three-game losing streak and continue their mini-road trip without a victory. The team’s on-court performance has suffered as a result of many injuries to key players.
The two-headed monster of the Suns, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, will still have to be dealt with by the Lakers. While Durant has been playing well all year, Beal just made his Suns debut and is still getting used to the team.
Durant nearly single-handedly defeated LA in the Lakers’ season-opening victory, tallying 39 points and snatching 11 rebounds. If the Lakers hope to break their losing trend, they must figure out a method to slow him down.
Because Booker isn’t playing in this game, the Lakers may concentrate more on guarding Beal and put more players in his direction. But injuries have devastated the club recently, especially to their wing players, so it could present problems.
In order to win this game, the Lakers will want a full team effort from them. Who participates in the match is still up in the air, but they must break this run.
In order to survive in the Western Conference, LA needs to start winning games. They don’t want to spend the entire season catching up, like they did the previous year, as that caused weariness in the playoffs.
