Man United £60m Guehi bid would be accepted

Sources: Man United would accept a £60 million bid for Guehi. Football Insider has learned from sources that Man United will need to spend a minimum of £60 million in order to secure a deal for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in 2024. Guehi, 23, is reportedly a target for United and a number of other Premier League teams, according to a report published by Football Insider on Monday, October 16.

Erik ten Hag’s side are keen to add to their pool of options with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez already suffering serious injuries in the 2023-24 campaign.

However, it is believed Guehi is unwilling to move clubs in the January window as he wants regular first-team football prior to the European Championships in the summer of 2024.

His contract at Selhurst Park is set to run until June 2026, meaning Palace can ask for a mega-money fee for his signature.

The ex-Chelsea man earns a reported wage of £50,000-a-week on his current deal.

Guehi has turned out nine times across all competitions for Palace so far this season with Roy Hodgson’s side sitting ninth in the Premier League.

He missed just one Premier League fixture last term amid 40 total outings across all competitions.

Man United

The 23-year-old made his international debut in March 2022, and thanks to his outstanding play since joining the Eagles, he has seven caps for England. The transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford in 2019 set a record for Palace and brought in an estimated £50 million for the London team. In other news, West Ham is favored to sign a star player from Manchester United.
