Manchester United have been handed two fresh injury concerns after Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana were forced off in their respective international fixtures.

Rashford started England’s 2-0 victory over Malta at Wembley, where an Enrico Pepe own goal and a Harry Kane strike helped the Three Lions maintain their unbeaten record in Euro 2024 qualifying.

The Man United forward was unable to complete the fixture after sustaining a knock following a collision with his England teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Rashford and Alexander-Arnold accidentally collided as they both sprinted towards the ball in a bid to retain possession in the 57th minute.

Although both players fell to the ground following the incident, it was Rashford who came off worse and required medical attention.

With the 26-year-old unable to continue he was subsequently replaced by Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer, who came off the bench to make his England debut.

Rashford will have to be assessed before England travel to Skopje for their final Euro 2024 qualifier against North Macedonia.

Man United boss Erik ten Hag will be hoping it is just a knock, having started Rashford in 11 of the club’s 12 Premier League games this season.

In addition to Rashford, Man United are also sweating over the fitness of Onana after he was forced off in Cameroon‘s 3-0 win over Mauritius in World Cup qualifying.

Onana, who came out of international retirement in September, was withdrawn in the 80th minute and walked off the pitch with Cameroon’s medical staff.

Cameroon are back in action against Libya on Tuesday, and it remains to be seen if the shot-stopper will be involved.

Since completing a summer move from Inter Milan, the 27-year-old has featured in all 18 of Man United’s competitive matches.

Ten Hag is already coping with a lengthy injury list that includes Jonny EvansLisandro MartinezLuke ShawTyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Christian EriksenRasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo.

The Man United boss will want Rashford and Onana fit for Man United’s next Premier League fixture against Everton on November 26.
