Things have gotten worse in the last fifteen minutes for Manchester United against Copenhagen, following an overwhelming, dream start.
At Parken Stadium, Rasmus Hojlund scored the first goal after three minutes and finished his brace in thirty, sending the visiting Reds into a frenzy behind the goal.
But things quickly turned around when Marcus Rashford challenged Elias Jelert while attempting to control the ball, and his studs caught the Dane’s ankle.
After a VAR review, Rashford was shown a straight red and sent down the tunnel, though the UEFA blog states that it was due to the forward ‘catching Jelert with his arm’, as per Simon Peach.
